Die Lage des Hafens bietet einen unverbauten Blick auf die Flensburger Förde - Luftbild Yachthafen Fahrensodde | Im Jahr 2021 wurde die Krananlage im Hafen erneuert, und eine neue Winterlagerhalle wurde errichtet. Zudem wurden im Mai 2024 die Schäden der Sturmflut beseitigt und das WLAN verbessert. Die Lage des Hafens bietet einen unverbauten Blick auf die Flensburger Förde und die dänische Küste, was durch die Hanglage und die Bepflanzung des Grundstücks zusätzlich gefördert wird.
